Tune Internet Radio with MCCS / NuVo?

Hi,

I'm pulling the trigger on the NuVo Music Port, and I see that Pandora support has just been announced - very cool.

Any forthcoming ability to tune to an internet radio stream (aka Shoutcast or other sources)? I'd love to be able to set some preset stations to show up on the NuVo pads, and then have the metadata flow through. Or is there a way to do it now that I'm not aware of? My short term solution is to feed the output of a Roku Soundbridge and manually build macros to pull up the radio presets - but I won't get the metadata...

Any update on a timetable for Internet Radio? Also can you in your next update place some cover art (perhaps the XM logo) when the music port is controlling XM . Right now it shows a Grey square with the notation cover art unavailable---

I saw a new version of the MCS / NuVo MP bridge pop up on Friday, and immediately tried it out, as it appeared in the MCS config utility to contain some of this support. But after quite a bit of trial and error this weekend, NuVo confirmed for me this morning that this isn't "the" release yet...

But I'm very glad to hear both companies publicly stating that an upgrade to the MP will be here "soon". The combination of the MCS music server functionality with Internet Radio / streaming makes the MP (and the new new MusicPort Server) a great set of products!

I'm also thinking of purchasing a Nuvo GC + NV-MP and would like it to use Pandora/internet radio. What is the ETA on the release? Seems like it's been about a year since it was first discussed.

The NuVo Music Port server currently supports internet radio, as does the Mirage Media Server.

I don't want to spend $2k, $3k for a dedicated music server when I already have an iTunes server running at home...this is redundant.

The MCS product is your server, right?

Any update here? It's been 5 months... With the MPS4 release out - is there really much work to do to support the standalone MP and MCS versions? I'd really like to have RadioTime in general, and the Pandora / RadioTime sources available on the NuVo keypads...

PS - Is it just me or does every post on this board require a moderator to approve before its viewable? The board would probably be considerably more active and you'd get more feedback and suggestions if it was more open... Understand the need to remove spam and unwarranted flamewars - but unless there's a history of bad behavior here, why prevent the discussions?
